Established in 2018, MAG Holding is a young and ambitious second hand clothing sorter and exporter from the heart of Europe in Budapest, Hungary. Based on the vast experience of our employees and in close partnership with some of the leading companies in the used clothes business (collecting original) in UK, Germany, Holland and Switzerland, MAG Holding offers more than 300 different articles of various grades.
We are a wholesale sorting facility for used clothes and shoes having our main warehouse in Budapest. With more than 10 years of experience in the global clothing recycling business, a team of specialists that have been trained to perform the best quality, and management that understands the global market demands as well as logistics, MAG Holding offers unique and highly valued products developed from second hand clothing.

Our Philosophy
Second hand industry is much more than just clothing. It’s a sustainable approach that helps to prevent harm made to our planet. It’s also about giving a second chance to the clothes, shoes, and accessories that have been already produced, thus keeping the resources invested in all of these clothing items from going to waste.
Did you know that a single pair of jeans you may be wearing right now took roughly 6800 litres of water to produce and generated greenhouse gases equivalent to driving over 120 kilometres?
Taking this into consideration, it can be imagined how much resources are being wasted on making clothes, especially when the amount of clothing produced has dramatically increased in the past few decades. Whereas many people buy clothes, never wear them and after some years simple through them out.
Also, studies show that nowadays 60 percent of the clothes made worldwide are made from synthetic materials (e.g. polyester, nylon, acrylic) known as plastic. When thrown away, they often sit in landfills for hundreds of years, if not forever.
Thus, recycling and reusing clothes multiple times helps keeping plastic out of landfills and positively contributing to the decrease in worldwide textile demand and subsequent waste.

Our Business
Sorting
With more than 10 years of working in the used clothes business, today MAG Holding counts on its reliable suppliers who collect unsorted second hand clothing (known as original). These supplies arrive from Western European countries on a weekly basis. All collected clothes and textiles go through our 6 eyes sorting system executed by our experts. After this careful selection apparel is being bagged/baled and packed as per the product classifications.
The product categories available for distribution include coats, trousers, shirts, skirts, jeans, households, shoes, accessories, etc.
Exporting
MAG Holding exports sorted used clothing, shoes, and wipers to both domestic (Hungary) and international markets (Ukraine, Greece, Croatia, Czech Republic, Uganda, Russia, Zambia, and Pakistan), carefully tailoring the supply according to climate and client requirements.
